Native American Turquoise Jewelry - King Manassa Pendant
This piece of Native American turquoise jewelry was handmade by Navajos in New Mexico. It has a bundle of seven natural King Manassa Turquoise stones all set in sterling silver. The King Manassa mine is located near the small community of Manassa, Colorado. Because the mine is no longer active, it is quite hard to come by. It is known for its greenish coloring and the brown matrix running through the stone and looks wonderful in Native American turquoise jewelry. As you can see, these qualities are definitely evident in this pendant. This pendant measures 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" not including the bail. Its substantial size makes this pendant a very showy piece.
