This horse head pendant has a lot of interesting features! It is handcrafted in sterling silver by Calvin Begay and his team of Navajo inlay artists. Together, they create wonderful Native American jewelry with amazing levels of detail. Unbelievably, this pendant has only two different types of stones: jet and lab-created opal. They cut these stones in tiny pieces to create the look of shooting stars crisscrossing a nighttime sky. The artists used small pieces of silver for the stationary stars.
This horse head pendant has one continuous line for the detailing in the horse's face and neck. It is a simple look with a Southwestern flare that goes nicely in this pendant. Turn this over and you find Calvin Begay's stamp, as well as "sterling." This pendant is about 1 1/2" long (including the bail) and 1 1/2" wide.
Please be advised that it may take around six weeks to receive this pendant. If we have this in stock it will be sent to you right away. If not, we will contact Calvin Begay and have one made for you. This process takes some time due to the amount of work involved in making this Native American jewelry. The inlay work may be a little different as well because each piece is handcrafted individually. If you have any questions, please give us a call at 308-234-3313.
