Gary Glandon White Buffalo Pendant

Handmade White Buffalo Jewelry

You are looking at a very special White Buffalo pendant. It has a White Lightning stone, which is a form of White Buffalo that has streaks of what resembles lightning against a black sky. We got this stone straight from a member of the Otteson family who discovered and owns the claim to this unusual stone. He personally named this unique variant and we were originally one of the very first places to have this stone. This particular piece has a very striking mixture of the two dominant colors and it stands out nicely. It is a beautiful look that you can wear for almost any occasion.

Another aspect that makes this White Buffalo pendant special is that it was handmade right here by my father, Gary Glandon. Gary learned silversmithing from a group of Native American jewelry artists many years ago and has been creating his own gorgeous work ever since. For this pendant, he used a classic rope decoration around the stone. On the very outside, you can see that he has added a notched pattern to the silver. Gary uses a tiny jeweler's saw to individually cut each little notch. As with any fully handmade piece of jewelry, a lot of time and effort went into the creation of this pendant. You will find "Glandon" and "Sterling" stamped on the reverse side of this pendant. It is really neat to have a one of a kind piece of jewelry that was handmade right here.

You do not want to miss this beautiful pair of Gary Glandon White Buffalo Earrings! Their shape and styling make for a perfect match to this pendant!

This White Buffalo pendant is 1.7" tall (not including the bail) and 1.15" at its widest. This is a great size that can be worn both casually or as a dressy showstopper. Please note that the chain that you see pictured is for display purposes only and is not included. You are welcome to contact us if you would like to add a chain and we can help find one to your liking.
