A lot of our Sonoran Gold Turquoise jewelry has a mixture of green and blue. This pendant is different because it has no blue, just a a deep, rich green coloring. There is some of the usual gold mixed it, which really livens this turquoise up. It has a really neat look because there appears to be many splotches of green that make up this stone. It is really interesting to look at! You can't quite tell from the picture but the stone has a nice rounded shape that sticks out from the setting. Most Sonoran Gold Turquoise is very striking and this pendant is no exception!
This pendant was handmade by Native American jewelry artist Phillip Sanchez. He resides in New Mexico and is a well-known Navajo jewelry. The silver design that you see in this piece is what Sanchez is known for. All of this work is done by hand and there is always a lot of care that goes into his pieces.
This pendant is about 1 1/2" long in total and just over 1" at its widest. It also comes with its own 18" sterling silver chain. If you love green then you are really going to enjoy this Sonoran Gold Turquoise pendant.
