You are looking at a turquoise bracelet that was entirely handmade right here at Stagecoach. It was made by my father, Gary Glandon, who was taught by Native American jewelry artists several decades ago. This bracelet has a very pretty Kingman turquoise stone with a matrix varying between brown and dark green. The matrix is intricate and quite interesting to look at. Even the teardrop shape of this stone is appealing. It is a lovely stone with a whole lot of character for you to enjoy.
Gary added some nice details to the silverwork in this turquoise bracelet. He used the classic flower and leaf design around the stone. A little farther down there are two silver bars on each side. These were textured with a special jewelry hammer as an added detail. On the inside of this bracelet you will find both "sterling" and "Glandon" stamped. These stamps indicate that this is solid sterling silver and that Gary is the artist.
The opening of this turquoise bracelet is 1" while the widest part of the cuff is about 2 1/4". This would fit a fairly small wrist but can be adjusted somewhat to fit. If you would like more information regarding this bracelet's size, please contact us at 308-234-3313.
