Wow, look at how gorgeous the stone is on this turquoise ring! This is Sonoran Gold Turquoise, which is mined in Mexico and is noted for its intense green coloring. Nowhere is that more apparent than the stone in this ring! The top half of this stone is a light green while the bottom shifts to a dark forest green that really stands out. You can also find some yellow streaks that give Sonoran Gold its name. This is a seriously beautiful stone, quite possibly one of my favorite small Sonoran stones that I have seen. I know you will love it just as much as I do!
This ring was handmade here at Stagecoach by Gary Glandon. To create a ring like this he begins with a simple sheet of sterling silver. Through the process of cutting, forming, and soldering, Gary can make something absolutely wonderful. On the shank he applied a texture with a special hammer. He also engraved some lines that help separate the textured portion from the nontextured. All these elements have been oxidized to make them stand out. You will find Gary's hallmark stamped on the inside of the shank.
If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind turquoise ring with a stunning stone, look no further! This will become one of your favorites!
