This is a Kingman Turquoise heart pendant with a really neat style. The stone was cut into a heart shape, which makes it very unique all on its own. This Native American jewelry artist went even further, however, and made the heart an unbalanced shape. Most of our turquoise jewelry has pretty uniform stones, most round or oval in shape. Having a heart shape makes this pendant very different.
The Kingman Turquoise is very pretty in this pendant as well. It is light-blue with a white matrix flowing throughout. There are also some dark specs that give this added character. You will find a lot of Kingman Turquoise jewelry at Stagecoach but every single one is different. We always treasure the highly unique pieces such as this pendant. It is always fun to see these Native American jewelry artists get creative with their work, as this artist obviously did. He added a detailed border around the stone that is very interesting but does not detract from the turquoise.
This turquoise pendant was handmade in sterling silver. It is 2 1/4" tall (not including the bail) and just under 1 1/4" at its widest point. On the back you will find the artist's initials and ".925". There is an 18" sterling silver chain that is included. It has a large bail that makes this quite versatile. You could wear it on the chain one day and then switch it for a nice pair of beads on another. This pendant will be a staple of your jewelry collection.
