This is a new pair of earrings that our very own Gary Glandon just finished. They have a very unusual style that we have not seen from him before. Each earring has a turquoise stone that dangles in the middle of a sterling silver hoop. Gary used a hammered texture on each hoop for some added detail. These turquoise earrings are simple and yet still very fun and different!
These earrings have Sonoran Mountain Turquoise, which is a sister to the tremendously popular Sonoran Gold mine. This mine is located in northern Mexico, just a short distance from the US border. Each of these stones has a medium-blue color with a few darker spots. They are pretty stones that stand out nicely in the center of the hoops.
These turquoise earrings are about 1 1/2" from the top jump ring to the bottom and are 1" wide. Though they have sterling silver posts at the top, they still dangle freely in a fun and eye-catching way.
