Handmade Turquoise Jewelry

This is a beautiful pair of Sonoran Turquoise earrings that were handmade right here at Stagecoach. Many years ago my father, Gary Glandon, was taught silversmithing by the Native Americans. He has been creating his own unique pieces of jewelry ever since. The leaf and flower design you see in the silverwork is the classic styling he always loves. Each piece is soldered together individually, a task that can be challenging with such tiny pieces of silver. The end result is a wonderful display of detail that you are sure to love.

These earrings have Sonoran Turquoise stones. If you have seen our other Sonoran jewelry, you may wonder why these are so blue as opposed to the normal bright green. This is actually Sonoran Mountain Turquoise, which is a related mine to the Sonoran Gold. While these can sometimes have splotches of green, they tend to be much bluer than most of what we carry from Sonoran Gold Turquoise. Either way, the stones in these earrings are very pretty and are a pair that Gary picked out himself directly from the cutters.

These turquoise earrings are solid sterling silver, including the hooks. The main section of the earrings is 1 1/4" long and 1" wide. On the reverse side, you will find "Sterling" stamped as well as Gary's "Glandon" stamp.
