Bora is an artist that we feature in our physical store but not normally online. He has a distinctive style and is one of the most unique artists that we showcase at Stagecoach. Originally from Turkey, he now resides in New York and creates stunning jewelry with heavy Turkish influence.

This necklace is simple and striking at the same time. It has a large teardrop Persian turquoise stone that dangles in the center. Though you cannot tell from the picture, the back of this piece is rounded outward. This is because Persian turquoise stones are often rounded on the back, in contrast to being cut flat as is the norm in the United States. This turquoise stone dangles from a bar that is textured to look like a stick.

As with most of Bora's jewelry, this necklace is made of oxidized sterling silver, which includes the 18" chain. It is also accented with bronze, which stands out nicely against the darkened silver. Together, these two materials create an appearance that I describe as medieval. It is a fantastic look that is quite different from any other artist that we carry. You will not be disappointed with this turquoise necklace from Bora!

The sterling silver chain is 18" long and the center bar is 2" long. The turquoise stone is 3/4" wide and 1" long.
