You are looking at a dainty Blue Bird Turquoise bracelet. The Blue Bird Turquoise mine is located in the southeast corner of Arizona, near the Mexican border. This is what is called a "hat mine", meaning that the mine is so small that you can cover it with your hat. While this is a slight exaggeration, it does give you an idea of how small these mines are located out in the middle of the arid desert. Because of its small size, you don't see Blue Bird Turquoise terribly often. You often find this stone with a pretty deep blue color, as you can see in this bracelet.
This turquoise bracelet was handmade by Larson L. Lee, a Native American jewelry artist from New Mexico. We have carried his work in the past and he always creates consistently high-quality work. You can see his detailing around the stone. Lee added a rope decoration as some small notches in the silver. This styling is modern but still has that definite Native American jewelry look.
This sterling silver turquoise bracelet is dainty and comfortable. It can certainly be worn casually and its deep blue color will go with a lot of different outfits. This color can be a staple of your turquoise jewelry collection!
