This is a simple sterling silver pendant that was handmade by Skylar Glandon. It has a splendid Sonoran Gold Turquoise stone that was handpicked from a top-quality turquoise dealer. This stone possesses a nice variety of green tones. There are some dull, light green colors with a darker streak that runs through the center. In the bottom right, you can see a small splash of blue as well. These shifting colors are one reason that Sonoran Gold Turquoise is such a popular stone. If you look closely, you can even see a few little yellow flakes that help give its namesake.
Skylar kept this turquoise pendant simple with a small silver border around the stone. Although a bit difficult to see in the picture, this border has a texturing that he applied with a special hammer. Though the outer border appears dark in the picture, it is in fact shiny silver. The reflections from the high-polished surface of this pendant make its appearance a bit deceptive.
This turquoise pendant is about 1" long (not including the bail, which adds slightly more) and 3/4" wide. It is small enough that it can be worn with a lot of different outfits but still noticeable!
