Gary Glandon, my father, just finished this super unique turquoise pendant! It features a fun sterling silver hoop with a teardrop shape. Gary hammered a texture into this hoop for some added detailing. In the center of the hoop, there is a teardrop-shaped stone from the Sonoran Mountain mine. This turquoise has a pretty blue color with a small amount of dark char mixed in. The style of this turquoise pendant is unlike any that I have seen from my father before. It's always great to see him branch out and try new things!
Sonoran Mountain comes from the same mine as Sonoran Gold but has an altogether different appearance. As you can see, this stone lacks the green and gold coloring that is so distinctive in Sonoran Gold. That being said, this is a very pretty stone that we are happy to have found. Its color and shape fit the design of this turquoise pendant well.
This turquoise pendant is 2" from the top of the hoop to the bottom. It is 1 1/2" at its widest point. On the back, you will find Gary's name stamped into the metal as well as "sterling" to indicate that this is sterling silver. The chain that you see pictured is not included. Please contact us if you would like to add a chain. We would be happy to help you choose the perfect chain to fit this pendant.
