Kingman Turquoise Sunburst Pendant

Handmade Kingman Turquoise Jewelry

When it comes to turquoise jewelry, the Kingman mine is perhaps the most famous. As American turquoise continues to become more and more scarce, Kingman is one of the last remaining major mines in the United States. This pendant was handmade by Native American jewelry artists with a bright blue Turquoise stone. I love the unique silver work because it reminds me of a sunburst. It always amazes me how each piece of turquoise jewelry is totally one of a kind. Every stone is different and the artists use their own unique styles. On the back of this pendant, you can find the "Sterling" stamp as well as the Navajo jeweler's initials "LP." This pendant measures 1" x 3/4" not including the bail and includes its own 18" sterling silver chain.
