You are looking at a brand-new turquoise ring that was handmade here at Stagecoach by Gary Glandon. It has an exceptional design, different from anything we have seen before. Gary handmade six sections that surround the turquoise stone in the center. These sections were textured using different hammers that are specially designed for this purpose. Creating these took a significant amount of time and planning for Gary, especially since he had never done something quite like this. This effort resulted in a highly unique and stylish ring!
This ring has a Kingman turquoise stone set in its center. It has a tangled matrix in the stone that adds intrigue. It is a very pretty stone that you are sure to enjoy. Like all of Gary's jewelry, the turquoise in this ring is genuine. Kingman turquoise is mined in Arizona and is the only large-scale mine still operating in the United States. You can find material of all qualities from the Kingman mine, from low-grade turquoise all the way up to beauties like you see in this ring.
The top of this ring is 1 1/8" long and 11/16" wide. You will notice that Gary even added a bit of texturing to the band and surrounded it with hand-engraved lines. On the inside of the band, you will find both "sterling" and "Glandon" stamped to indicate the material and artist. The band is heavy and solid so that it will not wear through or bend easily. While we always recommend taking care with your jewelry, having a heavy band does add some peace of mind. Gary really put a lot of thought into this piece!
