Nebraska Handmade JewelryWow, this is easily one of the neatest and most unique pieces I have ever seen. This interesting stone is called Purple Manakara or Grape Agate. It is very rare and comes from West Sulawesi, Indonesia. As you can see, it is well known for its bubbly formations. This pendant was made here at Stagecoach by my father Gary Glandon. He made the setting from sterling silver and added silver and brass leaves to look like vines around a grape bunch. Gary hand-engraved each leaf for added effect. This is such a neat piece, unlike anything I've ever seen. It's even more special that it was handmade right here in Kearney, Nebraska. The pendant measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" not including the bail.
