Richard Singer Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Pendant

Native American Turquoise Jewelry

Richard Singer, son of the famous Native American jewelry artist Tommy Singer, handmade this intricate turquoise pendant. The stone in the middle has a deep blue coloring that is very typical of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise jewelry. What really sets this off, however, is the amazing silver design. There is actually two layers of silver used in this pendant. The intricate design that you see was hand-cut with a tiny saw blade. It was then soldered onto the back piece, which was blackened to make the entire pendant stand out. There really is a tremendous amount of workmanship that has gone into creating this. It is 3 1/4" long and just under 1 1/2" wide.
