Spiny Oyster Shell - Native American Jewelry
This Spiny Oyster Shell bracelet was handmade by Navajo Indians in the Southwest. This shell comes from the Baja Penninsula off California and is found in a multitude of colors including red, orange, yellow, and purple. It has become a very popular stone in Native American jewelry. The Spiny Oyster in this bracelet has an orange and white hue that makes for a very pretty color. The opening on the bracelet is 1 1/8" wide. The Native American jewelry artist who made this piece left his personal stamp on the inside which reads "Secatero."
