I describe this pendant as standout because it has such an interesting and distinct style. It was completely handmade by our very own Gary Glandon right here at Stagecoach. Gary took his classic flower and leaf style and pushed it to a more abstract level. This pendant has one large silver bar on the righthand side that almost creates a pocket for the turquoise. While not wholly apparent from the picture, this silver bar arcs out with a three-dimensional flair. There are three silver pieces that hug the left side and create a pleasant balance to this turquoise pendant. The silverwork here is compelling and its sleek lines have a slight art-deco sort of style. You can be sure that you won't see another turquoise pendant quite like this one!
This pendant has a lovely Sonoran Gold Turquoise stone with beautiful colors. Two-thirds of the stone is the normal green that so often characterizes Sonoran Turquoise. The top portion shifts to a light blue. In the center of the stone, you can see patches of a brown matrix. Added together, these colors remind me of a forested atlas along a coastline. Part of the fun of turquoise like this is that no two stones are ever exactly alike.
This pendant is 1 1/8" long (not including the bail, which is approximately another 1/2" in length) and 3/4" wide. The chain shown in the picture is not included. If you would like to add a chain, please feel free to call us at 308-234-3313.
