I would like to take a few moments to discuss the current state and vision of our website. As you may know, we do a lot of different things here at the Stagecoach. Through our website, we have always tried to showcase a little of everything that we do. Recently, however, we have decided to take a more focused approach.
We believe that we have one of the best selections of Native American Jewelry in the United States. Having been through the Southwest many times and visited places like Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and others, we find that our selection rivals most any other place in the country. To be honest, this is also what we have the most passion for. Meeting these American Indian jewelry artists, and learning how they design and create their work, is truly amazing. Many of them have become good friends and we love their creations.
That is why we have decided to refocus our website to better showcase this beautiful collection of Native American jewelry. One thing that sets us apart from most jewelry stores is having our own in-house silversmith. Gary, my father, learned from the Native Americans and has been making his own jewelry for many years. It’s pretty special to find a piece that was made right here in Kearney, NE. Gary can also size many of our rings while you wait.
Providing Native American jewelry in central Nebraska has always been a bit of a challenge. It is an art form that is not generally as appreciated or well-known in this part of the country. That being said, we make it our goal every day to help others understand how artistic and wonderful Native American jewelry really is. A lot of work goes into making these pieces and no two are exactly alike. If we can help people learn and better appreciate Native American jewelry, then we have done our job.
Beyond Native American jewelry, we will still provide the very best in Nebraska souvenirs and gifts in our physical store. Now that our website updates are mostly complete, we will continue to add more products to our showcase. Because each piece is handcrafted, it is a never-ending process of photographing and adding jewelry online. The work is always worth it when we hear such positive reactions from customers. We hope you enjoy our updates and will check back periodically to see what’s new with our Native American jewelry.
