These butterfly earrings are stunningly gorgeous! They are from Calvin Begay, a well-known designer of Native American jewelry. This is the Starry Night Collection, which consists of jet, turquoise, and created opal. The black jet is the most prominent stone, with the others acting as accents. The opal gives the black color a nice flare of color while turquoise is used as the butterfly's body. Tiny silver pieces are dotted throughout and act as stars. It is difficult to imagine how much time was required to add so many stars to these earrings.
Any butterfly lover is going to really enjoy this pair of earrings. Butterflies are a fairly common motif in Native American jewelry and Calvin Begay does an excellent job with these. The earrings are 7/8" wide and 1 1/8" long, including the sterling silver post at the top. These are not dainty earrings, but they are still lightweight and comfortable. On the back of these you will find stamps reading "Calvin Begay" and "Sterling." When ordering, we do request that you allow around six weeks to receive. If we have these in stock, we will send them to you right away. However, we will most likely need to have a pair made for you, which will take some time. Please contact us if you have any questions!
