David Rosales Rosarita Guitar Pick Pendant – Native American Jewelry

The Rosarita Guitar Pick Pendant by David Rosales is a true showpiece from the new Rosarita Collection. Inspired by David’s own love of music and his background as a guitarist, this pendant turns the shape of a guitar pick into a work of art. Rich red Rosarita is carefully hand-inlaid into sterling silver, with each piece separated by fine silver channels. At the center sits a raised triangular section of Rosarita that rises above the rest of the inlay, creating depth and dimension that make this design truly stand out. While traditional inlay is difficult and time-consuming, creating this raised shaped stone is even more challenging. The inlaid bail, which mirrors the triangular pattern, is another thoughtful detail that ties the entire pendant together.

Rosarita itself is a lovely material with a story all its own. It was formed decades ago during the gold refining process, resulting in a brilliant red material with a glass-like luster. Since it is no longer produced, Rosarita has become rare and highly collectible, making jewelry that features it even more meaningful. In this pendant, its fiery tones are showcased in an intricate design that feels both modern and timeless.

This pendant measures approximately 2" long and 1" wide and is sure to catch attention whenever it is worn. Whether you are a musician yourself, a lover of unique jewelry, or simply someone drawn to bold color and craftsmanship, this piece will quickly become a favorite in your collection. This pendant could be worn by either a man or woman. In fact, David Rosales has his own guitar pick pendant that he personally wears in different stones!

Please note: The chain pictured is not included. This pendant is handcrafted by Navajo artisans in Gallup, New Mexico. Please allow about six weeks to complete due to the complexity of the inlay and silverwork.
