David Rosales Sonoran Gold Turquoise Naja

David Rosales Designs - Stunning Sonoran Gold Turquoise Jewelry

This is one of those rare pieces of Native American jewelry that left me speechless when it first arrived. It comes from Navajo designer David Rosales, who is one of the top inlay artists in the entire country. This crescent shape is called a Naja and is the bottom pendant portion that you see on squash blossom necklaces. This symbol has been used in Native American jewelry for a very long time and was even used in other ancient cultures. David adds a little extra character to his Naja with the feather styling. The whole design is incredibly unique and stylish.

The most stunning aspect of this pendant is the Sonoran Gold Turquoise that has been inlaid in it. This is a new turquoise mine that is from right across the border in Mexico. As you can see, it has a very intense green coloring often mixed with a gold matrix. Its unique look compared to most other types of turquoise makes it exceedingly popular. The highly contrasting colors give this stone a lot of character. I don't think anyone could say that it is boring in any way. Sonoran Gold Turquoise is a fresh look that is a fantastic addition to any turquoise lover's collection.

This is 2 1/2" long in total and 2 1/4" wide. It's a large piece that is impossible to miss.

This pendant is handcrafted in sterling silver. These pieces do take some time to create, and we ask that you allow around six weeks to receive. If there is an urgent time constraint, we can sometimes expedite a piece. Please contact us for more information about this. Also, the Sonoran Gold Turquoise has a broad range of looks and no two stones are exactly alike. Because of this, the piece that you receive will not match this perfectly. The styling will be the same but there will be some variation in the stones. Please be confident that the pendant that is made for you will turn out beautifully. David Rosales always does a wonderful job and I know you will be happy. Please contact us at 308-234-3313 if you have any questions.
