The bear fetish is an important symbol in Zuni culture. So much so that it is one of the most well-known Native American motifs. Master inlay artist David Rosales has used this design in this turquoise pendant. While David is Navajo, his team consists of Navajo and Zuni artists and he uses inspiration from both. This pendant is hand-inlaid with Kingman turquoise, which is one of the last large mines still in operation in the United States. It has a lovely bright color that is very striking and hard not to notice. This turquoise pendant is sterling silver and would work for either a man or a woman.
