Handmade Egyptian Turquoise Ring with Unique Silver Detailing

This new ring was handmade by Gary Glandon at Stagecoach. It features a beautiful Egyptian turquoise stone displaying a dark, intricate matrix contrasting against vibrant blue hues. Such characteristics are typical of Egyptian turquoise, which is mined near the Sinai Peninsula—the same material ancient civilizations valued for their jewelry and decor thousands of years ago.

Gary has given the turquoise ring a textured shank using a specialized jewelry hammer, carefully extending similar texturing around the stone itself. Unique to this design is the silver bar encircling the turquoise. Gary employed a new technique, melting the silver bar completely around the stone rather than simply soldering it in place. This innovative method provides a distinctive, seamless appearance.
