David Rosales creates the designs while his talented team of Navajo Native American artists handcrafts each. One thing that separates their work from others is the distinct color collections that each piece of jewelry can be made with. These earrings are from the Shalako Collection, which is one of our most popular. It features turquoise, sugilite, and cultured opal stones that are inlaid in sterling silver. The Shalako Collection takes traditional turquoise jewelry and adds an extra flare of color. These colors are vibrant, yet soft and tranquil. You are sure to enjoy them!
Look closely at the stones that are inlaid in these earrings. There are many geometric lines and angles within the pattern. These Native American jewelry artists hand-cut all these tiny stones, which is a challenging process. The outside of these earrings have a simple silver border. These earrings are 3/4" in diameter, which is large enough to see the stunning inlay work. However, they are still light and comfortable for daily wear. They have sterling silver posts on the backside.
