He creates these stunning stone collections that any of his pieces can be made with. For example, this ring has the Blue Sky Collection, which has Lapis Lazuli, Denim Lapis, and cultured opal. These stones are all hand-cut by David's team of Navajo inlay artists. This ring has the "fancy cut" style, meaning that the stones have been inlaid very intricately. There aren't a lot of people that can do this level of work so precisely, even within the ultra-talented world of Native American jewelry. It's difficult to tell by the picture, but the center Lapis stone is actually raised slightly from the rest. This gives an added layer of detail to this man's ring.
