David Rosales Designs - The Finest Contemporary Native American Jewelry
This is an absolutely fantastic inlaid bear pendant by Native American jewelry artist David Rosales. As you can tell, David Rosales is one of the very finest Native American jewelry artists in the world. The craftsmanship in a piece like this is incredible and it is truly a piece of art. What's amazing is this is reversible with a different look on each side. One side features a collection calls Turquoise Creek. It has picture jasper, turquoise, and black jade all inlaid together. These colors have a very traditional look of Native American jewelry. The reverse side has turquoise, spiny oyster shell, gaspeite, sugilite, and lapis stones, a colorful collection named Indian Summer. What's more, both sides are done with the fancy-cut inlay style, meaning that the stones have been cut with an incredible amount of detail. Creating a piece like this is not something that most Native American jewelry artists could do; only some of the very best could make something like this. Which side is your favorite?
This pendant is sterling silver and measures 1 7/8" x 1 5/8" not including the bail. For added color, this would look great on a beaded necklace.
