Gary Glandon made these Kingman turquoise corn earrings by hand in the jewelry workshop at Stagecoach. The square stones have softly rounded corners and a vibrant blue color with a fine, speckled appearance. Each turquoise stone is bezel-set in sterling silver with darkened details around the setting.
Hand-engraved sterling silver ears of corn dangle beneath the stones. Gary created the design as a nod to Nebraska, where corn has long been an important part of the landscape and local agriculture. His engraving defines the individual kernels, husks, and leaves, while the dangling construction gives the earrings movement when worn.
The earrings are finished with sterling silver posts and combine bright Kingman turquoise with a design that feels distinctly connected to Nebraska.
