The Gary Glandon Kingman Turquoise Painted Desert Pendant features bright blue and pale aqua turquoise with mossy green patches and earthy brown matrix. Handmade by Gary in the jewelry workshop at Stagecoach in Nebraska, this pendant brings together a richly patterned stone and a layered sterling silver setting.
The Painted Desert name reflects the mix of colors across the turquoise. Soft, cloudy areas sit beside brighter blue sections, while green patches and winding brown lines give the stone a landscape-like appearance. It’s a piece for someone who enjoys turquoise with varied coloring and plenty of detail to appreciate up close.
Gary framed the stone with two silver rope borders, placing a smaller, thinner rope above a larger, denser rope. This layered construction adds depth and texture around the stone’s rounded triangular shape. A smooth silver bezel and polished bail balance the detailed border.
Measuring approximately 1 1/8 inches wide and 1 7/8 inches long, including the bail, the pendant makes a colorful focal point on your favorite chain. Its mix of blue, green, and earth tones pairs easily with denim, simple white shirts, and neutral outfits.
