Skylar Glandon Celestial Kingman Turquoise Pendant

Textured Sterling Silver with a Hidden Celestial Design

Skylar Glandon handmade this pendant with a cushion-shaped Kingman turquoise stone set at the center of a round sterling silver plate. The turquoise has bright blue color with pale speckling and small areas of brown matrix, giving the stone plenty of character without overwhelming the design.

The front of the silver has a finely textured surface that catches and reflects light from different directions. This gives the pendant its shiny, elegant appearance and provides a contrast with the smooth turquoise and polished bezel.

On the back, a crescent moon is surrounded by stars in several sizes. This hidden celestial scene gives the pendant its name and adds an unexpected detail that is personal to the wearer. Skylar’s signature appears along the lower edge.

The pendant measures approximately 1 1/4 inches wide and 1 7/8 inches long, including the bail. It was made by hand in the jewelry workshop at Stagecoach.
